And with that, London Fashion Week Spring Summer 2016 has been gone! After the spectacular trends that paraded down runways in New York, I was pretty excited for London boy, it didn`t disappoint. I found that, on the whole, the looks at London were more glamorous, not as casual easy as NY, but stunning nonetheless. Here are my picks for the best trends to try this coming Spring/Summer (if you`re in the Southern Hemisphere like me, yay!) or next year (bummer for those in the Northern Hemisphere, sorry girls!).

I loved the sheer black trend  it popped up on quite a few runways but was done with grace aplomb at Issa. This can be a tricky trend for daytime but you can definitely make it work. Try a top with sheer panels like the short sleeved Red Valentino number or the long sleeved Maje top with tapered pants or tucked into a black pencil skirt for the office. This Self Portrait dress is absolutely stunning (Self Portrait will definitely be featured in my closet sooner rather than later!) would work for both the office the evening. Pair it with ballet flats for a French-chic office look spice it up with strappy sandals or pumps for night  same goes for the DKNY minidress. As for the stunning La Perla bodysuit, you could always save it for the boudoir or you could pair it with black skinny jeans a leather jacket for a seriously sexy night out!

{Wide black belt: Isabel Marant,Tan narrow belt: Topshop, Woven fringe belt: J. Crew, White cummerbund: J. Crew}

These tie-up belts were literallyeverywhere. I think they`re pretty cool they`re so versatile. I love the idea of a narrow one tied over a simple tee but the wider ones are seriously statement-making. Pair them with a little black dress to bring attention to your waist on a night out. I absolutely love J. Crew`s woven version I think it would look stunning over a white button down boyfriend jeans. Plus their white cummerbund version could be stunning over a cocktail dress.

{Top: Madewell, Shorts: Zimmerman, Dress: Self Portrait, Minidress: Topshop, Skirt: Saloni}

Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking. I hear you say, but bear with me for a minute! Florals for this coming Spring Summer have downsized. Gone are the large, statement prints in their place are these tiny delights. I can just see this Madewell top half-tucked into skinny jeans or these superb Zimmerman shorts with a white tee. This Self Portrait dress (I told you I`m seriously obsessed with this label) would be lovely with blush heels a crossbody purse for a Spring wedding. Toyshop`s Sixties style minidress is super cute! I would pair it with white flats to get that Mod-era vibes going. Plus this Saloni skirt would be gorgeous with a white button down nude pumps for the office. See? Maybe they are a little groundbreaking after all

{Top: Self Portrait, Skirt: Self Portrait, Cropped shirt: Topshop, 3/4 Sleeve Top: Needle Thread, Shorts: Chinti Parker}

Onto one of my favourite trends textured whites. These popped up in quite a few shows are almost an extension of the crochet trend from New York Spring Summer 2016. This Self Portrait (ok, ok, I can probably get therapy for this rightor I could finally splurge on a piece!) top skirt are designed to be worn together are darling! But I can also see them working very well as separates for both the office the weekend. Toyshop`s cropped border anglaise shirt is gorgeous I would love to pair it with a high-waisted skirt  maybe the Saloni floral one? The Needle Thread peplum top would look super cool over blue skinnies loafers for a model off-duty weekend look the Chinti Parker shorts are smart enough for the office.

{Pumps: Jimmy Choo, Tee: Michael Kors, Tank: Alice Olivia, Skirt: DKNY, Dress: Needle Thread}

Glitter sequins were the order of the day for nighttime glamour at London! They were popular everywhere from Temperley to Burberry Iadorethem (my blog is called Lucy Loves toSparkleafter all!). These Jimmy Choo pumps are on point (point? Get it?) I can see them being the tipping point for making a dressed down outfit of skinny jeans a white button down a seriously awesome look. This Michael Kors tee with its dripping sequins would be so glamorous with a black maxi skirt. The Alice Olivia top actually has a matching pair of shorts  paging Taylor Swift! I think this DKNY skirt with it`s sequinned panels is definitely corporate enough for the office but fun enough for after-work drinks seriously, this Needle Thread dress? Absolutely stunning!
