When was the last time you went to a party that you would describe as magical and unique? Well, that is how I would sum up the Scot Street Style– ONWARD! book launch last night, in association with Location Scotland. The founder, Gordon Miller, oozes friendliness and creativity in every way, which is what the launch party was all about, creative people coming together. This is where the magic really happens.

At 7pm, at Glasgow’s SWG3 Warehouse, the launch party began. The building itself was almost too cool to exist, with its rustic edge, it was the perfect background for any eager bloggers outfit photos. Climbing 2 flights of stairs, you were met with The Gathering 6. Drinks a-flowing and music playing from DJ David Stone the party was complete. Wait, there was also a photographer, Simon Murphy creating something wonderful with the guests. With a selection of vintage garments, you were able to recreate your look and get it snapped, because after all, it is Scot Street Style. Along, with my otherEdinburgh Bloggerswe were enjoying the night and connecting over our love of blogging and fashion.

The Gatherings are to connect all of us Scots together and this definitely happened on Saturday evening. Luckily, there is a book to capture all of these brilliant fashion moments. The people who make, wear and work with beautiful clothes can now find their work captured forever and put inside Onward!

The Gathering really emphasised the confidence of Scottish fashion and the greatness of being able to express yourself through style. Let’s keep the movement going!
